In Jonathan Swift’s story of Gulliver’s Travels, Gulliver becomes the prisoner of a race of miniature people in a land called Lilliput. In a similar way, modern collectors can either become captive to a whole new world of miniature collectables or relive their childhood with the likes of Britains lead figures, animals and gardens as well as John Hill (Johillco), Taylor & Barrett, Charbens, Sacul and Timpo lead miniatures, that were popular in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s.
