Britains Lilliput

During the early post-war period, Britains formed an association with W. Horton (Toys & Games) Ltd to produce the Lilliput Series range of figures. They were all smaller scale than the traditional Britains items being designed to fit the 00 and HO scale that was adopted as the official scale for model railways in post-war England. The average adult measures 21 mm with vehicles and other machinery in proportion. The first listing of the Lilliput range of models appeared in the 1952 Britains Ltd. Catalogue although it is believed that the models may well have been manufactured and sold before then.
