A wonderful miniature hand cold-painted metal flower comprising four open daffodils and an additional two buds by Beatrice Hindley. They are presented in a turned plain cobalt blue wooden pot with cream band. It has the full signature of Beatrice Hindley on the base.
These are amazingly detailed and botanically accurate. Total height 7 cms / 2.75 inches. Other examples of Beatrice Hindley's miniature plants can be seen in the famous Queen Mary's dolls' house at Windsor Castle, which Hindley was commissioned to produce by the famous garden designer Gertrude Jekyll
