The Kew Tiger Tim's family were produced in 1925 to capture the characters of Tiger Tim and the Bruin Boys that appeared in the Rainbow comic. Initially Tim and his friends had attended Mrs. Hippo's kindergarten but, in 1914, Amalgamated Press  launched The Rainbow, a comic aimed at young children. It was then that creator and artist Julius Stafford Baker's naughty animals relocated to the new comic's front page, as well as taking up residence in Mrs. Bruin's Boarding School and became the Bruin Boys.

This is the FIRST ISSUE of Kew Tiger Tim's Family member Oswald the Ostrich as he is looking sideways. Here he is seen wearing a blue jacket with yellow waistcoat and red bow tie. His wings / arms are open and he has orange legs

in very good original condition with just a few areas of minor paint loss that do not detract
