Britains Racing Colours Famous Owners: Duke of Portland. Duke of Portland, William Cavendish-Bentinck, 6th Duke of Portland, who held political office as Master of the Horse for a total of 16 years between 1896 - 1905.

Jockey is wearing his colours of cream top with black sleeves and cap. Riding brown or bay horse with one white sock. Contained in two-part pre war box with printed label and original tissue

Jockey and horse in very good original condition with just very minor paint loss. There are just some very minor areas of paint loss.Whip top complete but slightly bent. Box in good condition for age with some old water damage causing minor structure loss and discolouration to lid
