The Kew Tiger Tim's family were produced in 1925 to capture the characters of Tiger Tim and the Bruin Boys that appeared in the Rainbow comic. Initially Tim and his friends had attended Mrs. Hippo's kindergarten but, in 1914, Amalgamated Press launched The Rainbow, a comic aimed at young children. It was then that creator and artist Julius Stafford Baker's naughty animals relocated to the new comic's front page, as well as taking up residence in Mrs. Bruin's Boarding School and became the Bruin Boys.
This is the Kew Tiger Tim's Family member Jacko the Monkey. Here he is seen wearing a blue jacket with white shirt and red tie plus red trousers with white stripes. He has his hands / paws in his pockets
