Pip, Squeak and Wilfred were characters in a comic strip which first appeared in the Daily Mirror newspaper in May 1919. Pip was a dog, Squeak a penguin and Wilfred who did not appear until later in the series as their 'child' was a rabbit. The comic strip was at the height of its popularity in the 1920s. These are the Pixyland Kew versions of them and are manufacturer reference: 391, 392, 393. The tallest character, Wilfred, measures 7cms tall to tip of ears

all in very good original condition with some small areas of paint loss to Pip and Wilfred. Squeak has a larger area of paint loss to chest
